All of our libraries are now open and we’re delighted to welcome you back. You can select books, use public access PCs and other offerings such as photocopying, printing and collecting hearing aids batteries.
As you will expect, there are still safety measures in place for the wellbeing of staff and visitors and we encourage you to follow the current Covid guidelines. Occasionally we have to make a temporary change to opening hours at short notice – we update the times on the branch pages when we can but we’re sorry if a late change causes any inconvenience.
Good news – we are waiving overdue fines on books. You can return your books to any OnFife library, it doesn’t have to be the branch you borrowed them from.
The Connect and Collect service is still available. Complete either an Adult Library Form or a Junior Library Form to place a Connect and Collect order now. Alternatively you can phone a library and talk through what you would like with a member of staff. We will then put together a collection of up to 10 books for you to enjoy. See the library opening hours and phone numbers HERE.
You can request books from our online catalogue. You’ll need your library card number and PIN to make a request. If you can’t remember your card number or PIN, just contact your local library and one of our staff will help you out.
We have reopened the Archives search room in the Collections Centre at Bankhead. Visits are by appointment only and visits are limited to 1.5 hours. You can make a booking by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
