Celebrate Bookbug Week, 13 – 19 May 2024
Bookbug Week is back and this year we’re celebrating all the different languages spoken by families across Scotland with the theme Bookbug Says Hello! We hope you can join us for some very special events that week, including sessions with lots of different languages – including Scots and Gaelic, bedtime sessions, Pantstastic events and something very exciting that’s happening in partnership with Scottish Book Trust at Adam Smith Theatre on Wednesday 15th May. Bookbug Week takes place between 13th May – 19th May 2024. All events are FREE but booking is essential, as spaces are limited. Details of all our events during Bookbug Week are listed below, please contact the library running the event for more information or click on the booking link, where provided. ONLY the events at Adam Smith Theatre and Westfield Family Nurture Centre are drop-in, no booking required.
We will also have a very special Bookbug session for Bookbug Says Hello on our LibrarYAY page and all libraries will have a Bookbug Scavenger Hunt where you can help Bookbug learn how people all around the world say hello!
