Entertainment at Carnegie Hall

As always, public health is our priority and our number one commitment is keeping people safe in our venues. Likewise is our commitment to providing a quality theatre experience. We’d fully hoped restrictions would have gone by now but while social distancing remains, it’s just not feasible to go ahead with shows either financially or in terms of a great theatre experience, which revolves around a bustling theatre environment.

The next update on social distancing is not due until 9 August and unfortunately this does not give us enough lead-in time for the coming season. Sadly, as a result, we have taken the decision to cancel our autumn programme.

Our Box Office will be contacting customers who had booked events affected by these changes over the coming weeks.

There is still lots going ON! For our Summer programme, alongside ShineOn Digital, we are working with Fife CouncilFife Sports & Leisure and Fife Coast and Countryside to deliver Go Fife – a fun packed package of activities and experiences in Fife.

Since lockdown began in March 2020, our Box Office team has been undertaking an enormous customer engagement programme, which has seen us contact thousands of ticket-holders.

We can’t say enough how much we genuinely appreciate your continued support as we work through this difficult time together.

About Carnegie Hall

Situated at the heart of Dunfermline, Carnegie Hall is an attractive art deco theatre which presents a quality programme of music, drama, comedy, dance and children’s shows.

We support and host local arts organisations, including Carnegie Youth Theatre, Kelty and Rosyth Musical Societies and several popular dance schools.

Adjacent to Carnegie Hall, the Music Institute welcomes workshops, classes and children’s groups. Our Studio Theatre, found within the Music Institute, also acts as a rehearsal and performance space for creating and developing new work.

Unfortunately Tiffany’s, our popular restaurant, is currently closed – we look forward to welcoming back customers old and new as soon as possible.
