Libraries & Archives

Covid-19 Latest Update

To do all we can to protect team members, customers and communities, and reflecting the Scottish Goverment's new Stay at Home measures, our frontline services are on hold. Our Libraries & Archives are closed and our Connect and Collect library service will be suspended until at least Monday 8 March (though this will be subject to further review).

If you still have borrowed books from our library at home, do not worry - we are waiving all late return fees due to the pandemic so please hold onto them until we can open our doors again. You can then return your books to any of our libraries. Thank you for your patience and looking after our books.

If you're missing reading - or listening to - great books, did you know we have a free digital service offering thousands of ebooks, eAudio and emagazines? Find out more HERE.

As always, thank you for your continued support in these difficult times.

We know this will be as much a disappointment to you as it is to our teams who have worked hard to keep our spaces safe and have loved having you back and we’re keeping our fingers crossed this measure will be a short one.

Remember, there’s also the fantastic ShineOnFife programme delivering amazing content for all ages. Discover more about ShineOnFife here
