Cast ON is a fortnightly craft meet up for all ages. There is no need to book and it is FREE.

Do you want to learn new skills?
Join us for our fortnightly Cast ON, learn new skills and meet fellow wool lovers!
We have a huge range of crochet and knitting patterns that can be borrowed from the library and if you’re stuck, someone from our team will be able to help!
Never picked up a crochet hook before? We also have some hooks and wool that you can practice the basics with whilst enjoying a delicious cuppa from Cafe Wemyss.

Our Cast ON group has contributed to some amazing displays in the library to celebrate and mark different events throughout the year. From yarn bombing the library for Dementia Awareness week to creating poppies to be sold raising money for Poppy Scotland, Cast ON is a friendly group of creative makers that is always welcoming novices and experienced fiber artists!
