Summer Reading Challenge 2021

Dare to be a force for nature with the Summer Reading Challenge 2021!!

Become a Wild World Hero with OnFife Libraries and Children’s University Scotland. 

Read amazing books, get awesome rewards AND stand up for the planet 

When does it start? 

The Summer Reading Challenge runs from Saturday 19th June until Sunday 29th August 2021.

If you sign up by Sunday 19th July AND complete the challenge by it’s end date, you’ll be entered into a special prize draw!

What do you need to do? 

Borrow and read 6 library books, e-books or audiobooks over the school holidays.

For every 2 books you read, you’ll receive a special reward…and once you’ve read all 6, you’ll get a medal and certificate!

But not only that, starting Monday 5th July you’ll find weekly challenges in your local library, giving you the chance to win signed copies of the Mickey and the Animal Spies series by Fife’s own Anne Miller! 

All you need to do is log your completed challenges with Children’s University Scotland on their ASPIRE website.

We’ll keep you entertained all summer long! 

Alongside Wild World Heroes, Summer Reading Challenge 2021 you can also sign up to Children’s University Scotland.

Come into any of our libraries to sign up to the challenge!

Don’t forget to register with Children’s University Scotland too, and log all of your reading and activities on their ASPIRE website

to work towards your awards.
