A boy has to prove his innocence after a day of disasters, which include accidentally robbing the local corner shop.

Nine-year-old Pete, a boy who likes nothing more than watching snooker on TV,is having the worst day ever. His mum sends him to the local shop for parsnips (she’s rather fond of them) and before you know it, he manages to look like he’s a robber!

Now Pete is in a race against time to prove his innocence. Police and helicopters are searching for him. What will Pete do to show he’s got nothing to do with it, when everyone thinks that he’s the most wanted boy in the world?

Mistaken identities lead to lots of laughs throughout for the readers.
