Sophie is rescued from the English Channel floating in a cello case by Charles, who becomes her guardian as it is believed she is an orphan. Sophie has always believed her mother survived the shipwreck and wants to find her.
Armed with only the address of the cello maker, Charles and Sophie go to Paris. So begins Sophie’s adventures with her new friend, Matteo, on the roof tops of Paris, searching for clues about her mother.
