Kaspar, the cat, first arrived at the Savoy Hotel with his owner Countess Kadinsky. The Countess gets to know Johnny, the bell boy, but after an unfortunate accident, Johnny is left to look after Kaspar. Then Lizziebeth, a young American heiress, staying at the hotel, befriends the cat and Johnny.
