Ahmet is a refugee who has arrived in Britain without his family and is being cared for by a foster mum. He doesn’t speak English, but luckily some of the children in the class make friends with him so that he is not on his own.

As time goes by and Ahmet begins to speak a little bit of English, his friends find out what has happened to him and how he doesn’t know where his parents are.

Together the friends put together a plan “The Greatest Idea in the World”, involving the Queen!
Can they help find and reunite Ahmet with his family?

This is a brilliant story, which combines humour with an eye-opening serious message and has already won many book awards, including Blue Peter Book Awards Winner 2019 and Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2019.
