OnFife Comedy Café Online!
Join us in our new monthly OnFife Comedy Café – Online! Following a successful launch last month, this might be just the lift you’re looking for during these winter nights of lockdown! It’s something new to do, will give you a laugh and at only £5 a device – there’s no reason not to tune in!
So, pour yourself a drink, grab some snacks, and settle down in the comfort of your own home, to a night with some of the best comedians in Scotland and further afield.
The line-up for this LIVE event on Friday 26 February includes some well-known and best loved names – compered by Raymond Mearns, who was described as “Exceptionally Funny and Cathartic” by The Scotsman, has been on the UK comedy circuit for years – performing at venues across the country, including very successful Fringe shows since 2011.
Scottish Comedian of the Year, Leo Kearse is part of the new wave of raw, bold, American-inspired comedians taking the big UK clubs by storm. His “Extinction Rebellion” video went viral, selling out shows in the UK. Among various credits, Kearse has written for BBC shows including Breaking the News, Mock the Week and The Mash Report – one to watch!
Karen Bayley, originally from the Midlands, has been on the circuit for over a decade. She was the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award as well as reaching the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase and Babycham Funny Women. Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with.
Mick Ferry is a multi-award-winning comedian. He has performed stand-up comedy all over the world and is a regular at The Comedy Store. He has appeared on numerous TV Comedy shows including, Michael McKintyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The World Stands Up, Comedy Blue and Comedy Store Presents. His voice is now familiar on Radio 4 as a regular guest on The Likely Dads and various acting roles in Radio sitcoms.
Laughter from your lounge while we can’t all be together – beats another night of Netflix!
