About our library

One of the most modern libraries in Fife, Jennie Lee Library sits in the bright glass-front extension of Lochgelly Centre. Named after Lochgelly-born MP and Open University founder Jennie Lee, the library features striking black shelving inspired by the town’s mining heritage and a stunning fish mural reflecting Loch Gelly itself. Browse books for all ages, explore digital resources or discover local and family history in a warm and welcoming space.
