What's ON

We are delighted that as of Monday 26 April, we are now able to welcome you back inside St Andrews Library

To begin with we are offering a Limited Browsing service, which means a limited number of people in the library at any one time. You can select books, use public access PCs and other basic offerings such as photocopying, printing and collecting hearing aid batteries.

As you would expect, there will be safety measures in place and everyone must follow Scottish Government FACTS guidelines.

The Connect and Collect Service will still be available if you would like the library staff to pick a selection of books for you and you can pick up your bag of books from the door if you prefer.

Our temporary opening hours are:

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
10:00-12:30
13:30-16:00
Closed Closed10:00-12:30
13:30-18:00
9:30-12:30
13:30-16:00
10:00-12:30
13:30-15:00

It’s all going ON at St Andrews Library. A bright, modern airy space, which still maintains many original features such as stained glass windows and high ceilings – it’s not hard to see why the building is such a popular community resource.

With regular children’s activities, story-times, author visits, interactive displays and exhibitions – we suggest you pop along if you thought that libraries were all about books (of course we have a marvellous selection of those too!).

We are here to stretch the knowledge and imagination of the people of St Andrews and beyond.
