Job Description

Fife Cultural Trust is an ambitious charity; its vision is for Fife to be a culturally vibrant and rewarding place to live, work, study and visit and we are committed to create, develop and deliver imaginative and rewarding library services to children and young people along with their families, carers and teachers.

As well as driving literacy initiatives and developing reading collections both physical and online, engaging users and inspiring colleagues, you will drive forward projects like our hugely successful Summer Reading Challenge and new Community Film and Kid’s Dens Clubs. You will be a reading champion fired up to challenge perceptions and spark innovation across the Trust; working with colleagues to develop partnership ideas, reaching new customers and enhancing visitor experiences.

Creative, inspiring, and commercially minded with the experience and knowledge to lead a team, develop strong partnerships and identifying new funding opportunities, you will be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and help to develop our strong volunteer network and demonstrate an ability to support our strategic planning. Travel throughout Fife will be required and support for the delivery of weekend events for families. Appointment to this post is dependent on the successful candidate gaining PVG scheme clearance for working with young people.
