This drum stool and these well-worn sticks belonged to Red Hawks drummer, Tommy Wallace.

The original line up of the Hawks was Allan Jordan, Alex Smith, Alan Sadler, George Mason, Bobby Gilfillan and Drew Nisbet. Tommy joined the band later, and further personnel changes brought Ian Burns, Beth Leitch, Colin Bates, Walter Robertson, Manuel Charlton, Billy Hunter, Eddie Martin, Brian Sheridan and Garry MacPherson.

As well as playing the Kinema Ballroom 563 times, The Red Hawks were also regulars at the Cowdenbeath Saturday Palais and Lochore Welfare Institute, as well as playing ballrooms across Scotland. They even appeared on STV’s ‘Dance Party Roof’!
