Bookbug sessions are free, fun and friendly events for families with children aged 0–5 years to enjoy together. Coming along to sessions is a great way to spend some quality time with your little one and gives you the opportunity to share stories, songs and rhymes with other parents/carers and their children.

Who runs Bookbug Sessions?
Bookbug is part of the Scottish Book Trust’s national Early Years programme, delivered locally in partnership with libraries, education services, health services and community organisations.

Scottish Book Trust’s, Bookbug Session Leader Agreement – Guidance on photography and recording during a session:
The use of phones within the session should be discouraged as this is an opportunity for parents/carers to bond with their children and focus on what is happening in the session.
