New self-service library kiosks offer greater flexibility to readers

We’re all about making our libraries as easy and accessible as possible to everyone in our communities. Now, four branches are doing just that by offering a new self-service option.

Templehall Library in Kirkcaldy, Jennie Lee Library in Lochgelly, Duloch Library in Dunfermline and the children’s library at Kirkcaldy Galleries have all introduced new kiosks where customers can borrow and return books quickly and independently, making borrowing more convenient and reducing waiting times.

The service is supported by staff who are on hand to help if needed and it’s part of our commitment to investing in modern and accessible libraries.
