Adam Smith Theatre — Kirkcaldy

A bright, modern venue with calm, comfortable rooms suited to gatherings of many sizes, 20-200 people. In‑house catering and bar service help keep arrangements simple at a difficult time and there will be support from our team throughout.

Dunfermline Carnegie Library & galleries — Dunfermline

A light, peaceful venue beside Dunfermline Abbey — a reflective setting for remembrance gatherings and funeral teas. Suitable for groups of 20–100 people. This venue is a room hire only with external catering required, trusted suppliers available on request.

Food at the Adam Smith

We offer simple, comforting catering packages to help ease decisions at a difficult time. If there’s something specific you’d like, we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

At Adam Smith Theatre, room hire is waived for funeral gatherings – you only pay for your catering.

At Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries, catering is provided by trusted external partners. We can recommend options or work with your preferred supplier.

We know that planning a funeral reception can feel difficult. Our team is here to offer kind, practical support. We can help with room layout, timings, catering and the small details, so you can focus on being with the people who matter most.

Yes — it offers calm rooms and in‑house catering to help make arrangements easier.

Yes — it is well‑suited to quiet remembrance gatherings. Catering is arranged externally.

We host gatherings from small groups to around 200 people, depending on the room and venue chosen.

Adam Smith Theatre offers three catering packages. Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries is room‑hire only with external catering. We can recommend suppliers.
