Cupar Heritage Day, held on Friday to launch the 150th anniversary year of the Duncan Institute, which houses Cupar Library, was great success.
One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of a framed copy of the will of Miss Elizabeth Duncan, who left a considerable sum of money for the establishment of the Duncan Institute, which opened on 13 December, 1870.
Alison Murray and Roddy Greig from the Fife Family History Society are pictured with Andrea McMillan and Susan Allan from Cupar Library, at the presentation which marked the occasion and the great working relationship between the two organisations.
