Witches In Dunfermline
This lecture by Professor Julian Goodare of Edinburgh University will discuss the witches who were persecuted in Dunfermline between 1563 and 1736 during the period of witch hunting in Scotland. The lecture will tell some of the stories of the women caught up in these panics. One of the stories will be about Lilias Adie who was accused of witchcraft in nearby Torryburn in 1704.
