The Kirkcaldy & District Motor Club celebrates its centenary year in 2022. An amazing 100 years of sporting innovation!
The stars of the show are 3 classic motorcycles. The oldest is an early 1930s International Norton, of the type campaigned by the Club’s team riders, Swanston Blyth and McEwan, who raced with great success on the Isle of Man. A rare Yamaha TZ750, which took Kirkcaldy club member Alan Duffus to some of his six Scottish Championship titles. A Honda Britain CBR600 as raced by 11 times TT winner, British 250cc Champion and twice BSB Champion Steve Hislop from Hawick. The bonus is a MiniMoto sidecar outfit.
With club members competing in motor sport and gaining national recognition on two, three and four wheels the Club has much to be proud of, and the display in Kirkcaldy Galleries
will give a glimpse into their achievements, and may help reach out to family members of those involved in the Club in years gone by.
