Everybody To Kenmure Street (2026)

Presented in partnership with Film Hub Scotland, Everybody to Kenmure Street is a powerful documentary that tells the story of the extraordinary community response to an immigration enforcement raid in Glasgow’s Pollokshields neighbourhood in May 2021. When two local residents were detained by the Home Office, neighbours, activists and members of the wider community came together in an unprecedented act of solidarity, preventing the deportation and capturing national attention.

Using first-hand accounts, archive footage and immersive storytelling, director Felipe Bustos Sierra chronicles a remarkable day that saw ordinary people unite in defence of their neighbours. The film explores the strength of community action, collective care and the power of people coming together to stand up against injustice.

Both inspiring and thought-provoking, Everybody to Kenmure Street is a moving portrait of modern Scotland and a celebration of the compassion, resilience and solidarity that can emerge when communities act together.
