Michael’s parents are made redundant and decide to sail around the world. After an unfortunate incident involving Michael and their dog, Stella, they both end up overboard. They are washed up on an island where Michael meets Kensuke. In time, the pair begin to trust each other, learn from each other and become friends. Will Michael ever be rescued?
