If you like a nonsense read with a bit of adventure thrown in, then this might be the book for you.
Fizzlebert lives in a travelling circus with his parents and has plenty to entertain him and get involved with, but he is the only child there, and that can be a bit lonely sometimes. Some children, while at the circus, drop a library book. Fizzlebert doesn’t know anything about libraries and has never been to one. He sets out to find it, meets Miss Toad, the librarian but also a nasty old couple, who he thinks are trying to help him but in fact the opposite happens. Can the circus animals save him from a dangerous situation?
