Alfie hasn’t been to see the dentist in a long time and his teeth are in a terrible state. Unfortunately, Alfie’s dad is unwell and Alfie has to help care for him. Winnie, a social worker, becomes involved and she is determined to get Alfie to see the dentist. Alfie is very suspicious of Miss Root, the dentist, who visits the school giving out sweets and toothpaste.
