ON at Fife Libraries works with NHS Fife, providing easy access to books which patients and their families may find helpful.
They cover a wide range of subjects, from anxiety and depression to chronic pain and low self esteem. Ask your GP about this service.
The books are free to borrow, all you have to do is to take your prescription along to your local library and our friendly staff will help you from there.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a prescription, anyone who is a member of ON at Fife Libraries can make use of these books – look for them in the Family and Health section. If you need a hand, please ask a member of staff for assistance or email your local library.
You can also find out more about this service on the Mood Cafe website – a free resource for people in Fife struggling with mental health problems.
