Ambassador role helps Fife teen scoop award

Taking on the role of an Ambassador for our Design Suite at the Adam Smith Theatre helped Kirkcaldy teenager Alexa Campbell scoop a prestigious award.

We’re always keen to help young people realise their potential and Kate Pickering, the Creative Instigator who helps run the Design Suite, was so impressed by how Alexa was helping other people in the facility, we asked her to become an ambassador to help promote and further the Design Suite’s reach and work.

Kirkcaldy High School pupil Alexa’s work with the creative community through the Design Suite sessions helped her win the Saltire Summit Award at the recent Fife Voluntary Action Volunteer.

Alexa said: “It has helped boost my confidence and become much more social and it would be great if I could make a career from this experience.”
