Edinburgh International Book Festival – Live at Kirkcaldy Galleries
Experience the excitement of the Edinburgh International Book Festival right here at Kirkcaldy Galleries, with a series of free livestreamed events featuring some of Scotland’s best-loved writers, poets and illustrators.
From Catherine Rayner’s beautiful animal illustrations and Kae Tempest discussing Having Spent Life Seeking, to a fascinating exploration of Scotland’s witch-hunting past, there’s plenty to discover. We’ll also be joined virtually by master storyteller Alexander McCall Smith and Booker Prize-winning author Douglas Stuart.
All events are free drop in sessions and take place at Kirkcaldy Galleries:

Parking: There is parking in front of the building with spaces for Blue Badge holders as well as further free parking at Kirkcaldy train station.
There is ramped access from the entrance, and a lift is available for travel to the upper floor (exhibition spaces along with local and family history). A wheelchair is available for use in the building and sensory support items e.g. ear defenders, fidget toys, emotion fans can also be borrowed.
Accessible toilet facilities are available on both the ground level and first floor, and the Changing Places facility is located on ground level, accessed by a radar key.
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
