While 2021 came with its challenges, it seems that many Fifers during the various Covid restrictions found solace in reading a good book.

The total number of books borrowed by our library customers during the year was 48,3103.

So what are the most popular genre of books that customers were reading during 2021?  Well, it looks like Fifers love nothing more than a good murder mystery, with the top five Adult Fiction books borrowed being in the crime genre – and three of those were also written by Fifers!
