Adam Smith Global Foundation are delighted to welcome co-founders of that World Wide Web Foundation inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Rosemary Leith to deliver the 2019 Adam Smith Lecture. This lecture will mark thirty years since the invention of the World Wide Web by looking at its future and how we all have a role to play in ensuring the web serves humanity.

Ten years ago, Tim and Rosemary co-founded the World Wide Web Foundation to promote the web as a public good and human right for everyone. The Foundation has recently launched a Contract For The Web, bringing together companies, governments and citizens to commit to a free, safe and open web that benefits everyone.

Join us for what is sure to be an interesting evening.
