Fife Performance Ensemble

The Ensemble was created in 2013 to inhabit the space between professional, amateur and community arts. All participants are aged over 60 and use their own stories and experiences to create a show. It provides a great opportunity to learn new skills, have some fun and take a trip down memory lane.

Alan Lydiard – Artistic DirectorArtistic Director of TAG Theatre Company, Glasgow and Associate Director at Dundee Rep.

Betty Cunningham -­ Ballroom and Latin American DanceBetty runs the Cunningham School of Dance. She has taught dance for many years across the whole of Fife and is a founder member of Fife Performance Ensemble.

Magaret Moffat -­ Singing/MusicMargaret has worked as Musical Director with various musical societies within Fife over many years, including Fife Children’s Theatre.

Sally Owen -­ DanceSally is a performer, choreographer and director who has worked for Ballet Rambert, Scottish Dance Theatre, Le Compagnie Renaud-Barrault, Nederland’s Dans Theater 2, Women’s Comedy Workshop, Transitions Dance Co, David Glass Co, Ra Ra Zoo and National Youth Music Theatre amongst others.

Alan Grieve -­ StoriesAlan is a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design and concentrates on the use or creation of intimate spaces for the collection, documentation and re-telling of stories. He has collaborated with organisations such as Dundee University, Fife Cultural Trust, NHS Fife, NHS Forth Valley, Trigger Arts and the National Theatre of Scotland.
