Monday 1st – Friday 5th July at St Leonard's School and Sixth Form College, St Andrews.
Do you love playing Jazz? Do you want to learn from experienced tutors, or just brush up on your existing skills? If so, Fife Summer Jazz Course is for you!
An all-inclusive, practical course, it’s designed to give you an overview of key Jazz skills, including Instrumental; Playing in a group; Theory; Taking a solo; Listening; Vocalising; Transcription; Arrangement and more!
Develop your playing, public performance, and improvisation with some of the country’s best Jazz tutors. The course takes place over four days of intensive sessions in a friendly, fun environment, with our popular residential option letting you focus on building your skills in comfortable surroundings.
Directed by Richard Michael, the course's tutors are Mario Caribe, Gordon McNeil, Jeremy Price, Tom Gordon, Euan Stevenson, Kevin Ferris, Eliot Murray and Hilary Michael.
Full residential rate is £390 (non-residential £275). Concessions of £330 (£215) are available for participants under 18, over 65, and those in full-time education. Early booking is highly recommended.

Summer Community Jazz Course
ON at Lochgelly Centre with Peter Petrie
Tuesday 2nd July- Friday 5th July at Lochgelly Centre
After last years succcess, Pete is back bringing Jazz to Lochgelly. The course is for those aged 16+ and no previous jazz experience necessary and will culminate in a performance at St Leonard's school in St Andrews with the main Summer Jazz Course Participants.The course runs from 2.00pm to 4.30pm daily, with the concert on the Friday afternoon (bus is provided). Summer Junior Jazz Course

This course is for 8-14 year olds with no previous jazz experience necessary and will culminate in a performance at St Leonard's school in St Andrews with the main Summer Jazz Course Participants.
