Decky Does A Bronco was staged from 5–9 July 2010 in five Fife parkland venues by Edinburgh-based theatre company Grid Iron.
Concentrating on site-specific promenade theatre, the company brought audiences to new performance spaces and challenged their expectations of what theatre can be.
This project was developed especially for the Celebrating Fife 2010 scheme, with the aim of bringing outdoor theatre performances to West Fife. It provided a unique opportunity for non-traditional audiences to engage with theatre.
Over five days, 900 people saw the play and were captivated by the circus atmosphere as the company set up their stage and props and performed. The event proved a runaway success.
